Got Your Back
         Cloud Blitz trotted along the path through Ponyville, curious about how much of a difference there was between here and  his home in Cloudsdale. There were more than just Pegasus here, Unicorns and Earth ponies roamed around, as well. He'd even seen a Zebra wandering about. When he agreed to go on this trip with his flight class he figured that it would be another boring trot through the rainbow factory.
         Cloud was so amazed at the sights and sounds around him that he didn't even notice the winged colt trotting up behind him.  " 'Sup Soda Stain. Freak out any ponies yet?" Cloud's ears flattened as he realized just who was behind him. He looked over his shoulder and flinched as the dusty blue pony strolled up beside him. "C-Can't I be at p-peace for a short time Rain Dance?" He said, making an effort not to make eye contact.
         Rain smirked. "Come on, Cloud Stain. You know it's all in good fun." Rain picked his hoof up and slung it at Cloud. He stumbled and tripped over his own hoofs and landed on the ground with an "Oof!". He whimpered softly as Rain stepped in front of him. "You're so weak. How is it that you even call yourself a Pegasus?" He smirked down at Cloud and prodded him with a hoof. When Cloud mumbled a soft "P-please stop…" he started kicking Cloud with a light, evil laughter. "Come on ya wuss! Be a real stallion!"
                Cloud brought his front hooves up in defense as Rain's kicks grew harder. "Get up, you carpet stain!" Cloud closed his eyes tightly trying to hold back his tears as the kicks continued.
                 When the kicks stopped, Cloud slowly opened his eyes. He saw Rain slowly backing away with a look of fear playing on his face.  "Wh-who're you?!" He asked. It was then that Cloud realized that somepony was standing over him.
                 He looked up at that massive stallion. He was light, minty green color with rich brown stripes. Cloud wasn't sure whether to be a afraid or thankful that this large colt appeared. He was jolted out of his thoughts when the mint colored pony started talking. "Why do you bully this little one?" Rain glared at the odd zebra. "It's none of you business, so bug off!" But the stallion just stood there, watching Rain with and angry expression. "You leave this little colt alone or it will be my business." He flared  his nostrils and stamped his hoof. Rain swallowed hard. "Y-you! You'll pay for this Cloud Stain!" He took off galloping at full speed and flew into the air.
                The mint colored pony stepped off from over Cloud. "You okay? Nothin' broken right?"  Cloud shook his head. "No, I'm fine. Thank for your help mister.." "Mint. Mint Chocolate. And you are?"  Mint held out his hoof as an offer to help Cloud up. "Cloud Blitz." He said taking the offered hoof.
                 "You get bullied often don't you?" Mint stated more than asked as he dusting some of the dirt off the Pegasus's face.  Cloud looked away, a little ashamed of that fact. Mint used the same hoof he'd used to dust Cloud's  face to turn his head. "You needn't be shamed. The bully is the sad one."  Cloud blushed at the zebra. Mint held a soft, caring smile. "Whenever you need help or just a friend, know that Mint's got your back."
